Qualifications

REQUIRED Requirements for Ultrasound Technologists Initial Qualifications · Certified or eligible for certification by: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Sonography (ARRT) (S). OR Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) · All sonographers must obtain certification within twenty-four months of eligibility or cross training.) · Certified in Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or obtain within 90 days of employment Continuing Education Sonographers must be in compliance with the ARDMS, ARDMS, ARRT or CCI requirements for continuing education appropriate to their practices PREFERRED Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology For specialty areas: Cardiology: Registered Cardiovascular Technologist with two (2) years cardiac related experience Vascular: Registered Vascular Technologist with two (2) years vascular related experience OB/GYN: Registered OB/GYN Technologist with at least two (2) years of OB/GYN related experience Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM): Monday - Thurs 8-5 Friday 8-1:30

Requirements

Requires certification or eligibility for certification from ARDMS, ARRT(S), or CCI, and a current CPR certification. Preferred candidates are graduates of an accredited Ultrasound Technology school with specialty experience in Cardiology, Vascular, or OB/GYN.
