Perform various cardiology procedures including echocardiograms, vascular ultrasounds, and EKGs. Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care in accordance with departmental policies.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Scheduled Weekly Hours: TBD Work Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00a - 5:00p | No Holidays, Weekends or Call Summary of the Job: Performs various Cardiology procedures – Echocardiograms, Arterial & venous Ultrasound, Pediatric echo, TEE, Holters, Stress echo, EKG as well other relevant related tasks and procedures.

Must work well within a multidisciplinary team and perform other delegated tasks in accordance with departmental policies and needs.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent Registered RDCS/RCS or equivalent OR combination of education, training and experience to obtain RDCS/RCS or equivalent in echocardiography Current BLS certification through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross. The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred 1 year adult/pediatric echocardiography with Doppler and Color Flow experience, along with Vascular US (arterial & venous).

Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 20 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.

Requirements
