The LPN Triage GI is responsible for triaging patient calls, coordinating care plans, and managing prescriptions and authorizations. They also perform clinical tasks including injections, phlebotomy, and assisting providers during exams and procedures.

and Residents from the University of Kansas School of Medicine--Wichita’s Internal Medicine Department provide patient care primarily through our clinic. We are dedicated to continuous quality improvement while providing high quality, efficient health care to patients. This position supports Physicians, Residents, and other Medical Providers in the Internal Medicine Faculty & Resident Clinic, in the delivery of quality, patient-centered care within scope of practice.
Education: Associate’s degree (two-year college or technical school)
Candidates must hold a Kansas RN or LPN license and have a minimum of two years of nursing experience. An associate degree is required, and experience with eClinicalWorks EHR is preferred.
