Greenwood Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, has an Opening for an Activies Aide for our Consumers. This is a Part Time, Weekends Position, with 2nd Shift Hours May be opportunities for shift coverage during the week. $18 per hour
of the Part Time Activities Assistant: Assist with daily in house activities for consumers that are designed to enhance quality of life Assist with outings to shopping centers, movies, community events, etc. Follow all Activity Policies and Procedures and Federal and State regulations Maintain all related records, documents, and schedules
of the Part Time Activities Assistant: Must be at least 21 years old Activities experience, preferably in a mental health residential environment High School diploma or equivalent Must be able to speak, read and write English Comfortable driving 12 seat van Have valid Driver's License and a good driving record (we will run MVR check on Driver's License) Bilingual a big plus Must have compassion and understanding of psychiatric population Greenwood Care is dedicated to the treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation of individuals affected by chronic psychiatric illnesses.
