Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures ordered by a physician to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures. Positions and instructs the patient for Nuclear Medicine examinations, adjusts the imaging equipment, determines proper dosage and desired exposure time for each image following the proper guidelines.

Requires graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine school and certification from NMTCB/CNMT or ARRT. A current American Heart Association BLS certification is required, while EMR/EHR experience is preferred.
