This position is located at the Jicarilla Service Unit, Dulce, NM \n

\n $70,000 - $75,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Provide dental services including exams, restorative treatments, oral health education, and preventive care.
  • Diagnose and treat patients within professional scope and IHS standards.
  • Assist in patient care processes, ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and IHS standards.
  • Complete and maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Dental Record (EDR).
  • Comply with Joint Commission and CMS standards in a culturally competent manner.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and adhere to IHS and service unit policies. \n

Qualifications

  • Certification from an accredited program or relevant on-the-job experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • BLS certification and preferred radiology certification

Requirements

  • Background check and character investigation as per the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act. Credentialing and fingerprinting required before staring.
  • Ability to work in Remote Areas and travel if necessary, with weather-related travel challenges expected at some locations. Work Hours: Varies by location; typically Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with some locations requiring flexibility for longer shifts.
