Saint Francis Hospital - Wilmington, DE Position Purpose The Radiology Tech Aide provides assistance to technologists in all areas that allow technologist to maintain an on-time schedule and run the scanning area in an orderly fashion. Adjusts patient’s schedule when necessary and keeping all techs informed of any changes. Transports ED/In patients to and from exam area as needed. Greets and escorts outpatients to exam area and briefly explains procedure. Prepares room set up between patients. Assists patients on and/or off table when requested by technologist. Monitors current schedules/orders for today and for next day. Helps the technologist stay on time by having the next patient ready before the current patient is ready to get off the table. Assists with documentation in EMR and PACS imaging system as directed by technologist.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Previous experience in radiology is preferred.
