The COTA will provide rehabilitation and long-term care services to residents across two skilled nursing facilities. Responsibilities include performing transfers, ADL retraining, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to improve patient function.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full Time Meadow Brook Rehab and Mount Olympus Rehab / Salt Lake City UT Independence Rehab Independence Rehab is actively seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Meadow Brook Nursing & Rehab and Mount Olympus Nursing & Rehab in Salt Lake City.
These facilities are less than 10 minutes apart.
You will split time between both facilities on a regular basis.

As a COTA in a skilled nursing setting, you'll work collaboratively with the therapy team to support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care-helping them achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life. SNF Practice Highlights Treat a diverse caseload, including occasional clinically complex patients Perform and assist with all types of transfers Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team Competency training is available-we're happy to support your growth in any of these areas

Current Utah Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in good standing Associate degree from an accredited OTA program Organized, self-motivated, and patient-focused Passion for working with the geriatric population One year of SNF experience preferred, but newer clinicians with strong interest in geriatrics are encouraged to apply
