About the Role

As a Laboratory Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in supporting patient care by performing complex laboratory tests and analyses that provide essential data for diagnosis and treatment.

You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results by adhering to strict quality control and safety protocols.

This position requires collaboration with healthcare professionals to interpret laboratory findings and contribute to clinical decision-making.

You will manage and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Ultimately, your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes by delivering timely and precise laboratory information.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Licensed as a Medical Technologist
  • Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting performing diagnostic testing.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory requirements (e.g., CLIA, CAP).
  • Ability to operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and information systems.

  • Experience with laboratory automation systems and advanced diagnostic technologies.

  • Previous experience in a hospital or large healthcare facility laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, tissue, and other bodily fluids using automated and manual techniques.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance and accuracy of test results.
  • Analyze test data, identify abnormalities, and report findings to physicians and healthcare teams promptly.
