Provides various treatment programs and procedures in collabo¬ration with supervisor and other staff therapists. The Physical Therapy Assistant will actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care.
1. Graduate of an accredited program for physical therapy assistants.
1. Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred.
1. Must be able to perform all duties associated with the position of Physical Therapist Assistant. 2. Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills. 3. Demonstrates maturity to function independently, organize work and set priorities appropriately.
1. Must possess current licensure to practice in Pennsylvania. 2. Must complete the American Heart Association’s Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renew BLS every two years. 3. Must possess or be eligible for Physical Therapist Assistant – Indirect Supervision License.
Receives general supervision from the Director Operations.
