One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Medical Assistant, you'll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team.
Medical Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Staff Nurse and/or licensed medical practitioner in caring for the clinical patient and providing the best possible individualized nursing care in a timely manner with emphasis on cost containment.Every day, you will take the lead on proactively preparing patient charts, ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility.
You can expect to have multiple patients daily depending on the number of physicians are on-site.

Job Requirements REQUIRED: One year experience in a outpatient medical office or physician clinic setting Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire (Must be through the American Heart Association) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Medical terminology, ability to clearly communicate and understand English PREFERRED: Associates degree in a related field Two years experience in a clinical setting Spanish speaking skills Working knowledge of state supported programs specific to rural health clinics and Medical Assistant certification
Candidates must have one year of experience in an outpatient or physician clinic setting and a current AHA Basic Life Support certification. An associate degree, Medical Assistant certification, and Spanish language skills are preferred.
