The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating professional nursing practice and overseeing unlicensed assistive personnel. They coordinate patient care services and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
As a Registered Nurse you will assess, plan, perform, document, and evaluate professional independent nursing practice at Lakeview Hospital; to provide work direction for and oversight of the nursing care provided by unlicensed assistive personnel; to perform and document functions such as carrying out the practitioner orders; to assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures; to provide a safe and therapeutic environment; to coordinate, communicate, interpret, and explain patient care services to the patient, their family, health professionals and others; to perform related duties as assigned.

Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing, a valid RN license for Minnesota or Wisconsin, and current BLS certification. A minimum of one year of Acute Care RN experience is required.
