We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Community Support Team (CST) Peer Support Professional to join our team full-time. This role is essential to our mission, providing therapy, crisis support, and service coordination for mental health clients in a variety of settings. As a Community Support Team (CST) Peer Support Professional with ACS, you will provide community based services. Provide community-based service for adults age eighteen and older who have a mental illness or a substance abuse disorder. Provide scheduled activities that promote recovery, self-determination, self-advocacy, and enhancement of community living skills. Provide wellness education via teaching problem solving, anger management, and other life skills. This description outlines the general scope and level of work for this role. It is not intended to include every duty or responsibility that may be required of employees in this position. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid NC Peer Support Specialist Certification. A valid driver's license is mandatory for transporting consumers.
