About the role

Perform routine non-technical and moderate technical work within the medical laboratory. Maintain laboratory areas and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition.

Associate Laboratory Assistant at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 10-hour, Variable shifts.

Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and the Director of Laboratory Services, the Clinical Lab Assistant I performs routine non-technical, manual, and a moderate amount of technical work in the medical laboratory. Maintains laboratory areas and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Carries out related tasks as required.

Required Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or GED.
  • California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire, Or
  • California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire.
