Perform laboratory testing on various complexity assays and document quality control and assurance. Maintain laboratory compliance with CLIA regulations and perform routine phlebotomy.
Responsible for performing laboratory testing on waived, moderate and some high complexity assays on various specimens as requested by physicians.
Perform related duties requested by supervisory personnel.
Perform and document quality control, proficiency testing, quality assurance.
Assist with performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on all assays and instruments in the laboratory in accordance with CLIA regulations.
Maintain established department policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental, and infectious control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation.
Assist with monitoring and maintaining inventory as well as receive supplies and distribute them to the appropriate departments.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of patient privacy rights.
Maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial or other sensitive materials and information in printed, electronic or verbal form.
Perform routine phlebotomy.
Full-time employment (Minimum 40 hrs/week, weekend rotation and on-call as needed).
