JOB SUMMARY Provides primary care to patients following established standards and practices in collaboration with physician in the clinic. JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate from accredited school of nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program Certification & Licensures:
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse by the State of Missouri
  • BLS Certification Experience:
  • Three years experience as a family nurse practitioner preferred
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe working environment
  • Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff and the public
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards and maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations
  • Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions
  • Ability to learn and efficiency utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs

Requirements

Requires a nursing degree, completion of a Nurse Practitioner program, and current Missouri licensure as an RN and APN. Three years of experience as a family nurse practitioner is preferred along with BLS certification.
