Description Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Physician Office

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in a busy physician’s office. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive and professional environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to patient well-being, possess strong clinical skills, and work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures
  • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient symptoms
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Educate patients on health management, medication usage, and follow-up care
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of clinical areas and equipment
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols

Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
  • Proven experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and healthcare regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
