Nursing Assistant, Neuro and Cardiology unit, Telemetry, 3E Location: Baptist Health, Lexington Schedule: Full-time, 1st Shift, 7a-7p UNIT OVERVIEW: 3E is a 19 bed telemetry unit, specializing in neurology and medical cardiology patients. The staff on 3E care for patients who come to BHL for our Comprehensive Stoke Care Program and nurses on 3E have additional certifications and training to provide high quality care to our Stoke population. Patient are admitted from the ED, ICU or direct admits on this unit. JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, the Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care and support services to patients and families. This role performs selected nursing procedures and routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and overall care of patients.
