Perform a variety of radiographic examinations and transport patients under the supervision of a registered technologist or physician. Ensure superior quality images are produced while following department protocols and sterile techniques.
Description The Radiology Student has a responsibility to perform a variety of radiographic procedures.
The tasks outlined below are expected to be performed based on the department policy.
The student will be scheduled to work with a Radiology Technologist to follow department protocols.
This position will function with under the supervision and/or direction of registered technologist and/or physician to produce superior quality radiographic images.
Performs radiographic examinations.
Transports patients Utilize sterile technique.
Operate equipment.
Ability to effectively deal with patients, families, hospital staff and physicians.
Excellent computer, interpersonal and communication skills.
Other duties assigned by lead technologists and/or directors.
