The oncology veterinary technician is responsible for the general nursing care and treatment of animal patients.
How you'll make a difference Placement and maintenance of IV catheters Calculate and administer both oral and injectable medications Accuracy in calculating, delivering, and maintaining anesthetic agents, fluids, and CRIs Safely position and take radiographs and obtain and prepare various blood samples for diagnostic testing Administer chemotherapy as directed, ensuring all protocols are followed and adhered to Provide quality, compassionate care for hospitalized patients Providing extensive client communication and education on various oncology disease processes Maintain accurate treatment sheets

Schedule: Monday through Friday, four 10-hour shifts
$24 - $29 / hour for veterinary technicians based on experience
