Our Mountainside property offers vast, panoramic bayside vistas, while residences are nestled calmly in the forest hillside overlooking a picturesque valley. We are seeking a candidate that will fit well within the world-class treatment team at Bayside Marin. We are dedicated to delivering clinical excellence in the care we provide for addiction and co-occurring disorders. $2500 Sign on bonus paid 90days and 6 months from date of hire.
Salary Range: $74,059 annual to $89,560 annual
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Direct and participate in the preparation of food at the facility. Select and develop recipes in conjunction with dietician and approved menu. Standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality. May oversee special catering events. Maintain department by adhering to organizational health and safety policies, state and local regulations regarding the safety and service of food. Close coordination with dietitian to provide professional direction in the delivery of food services. Utilizes food services processes of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to provide quality food services. Provide supervision and guidance to the members of the staff. OTHER FUNCTIONS: Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related culinary degree required. Two or more years’ experience in a quality food production environment or institution. LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification, where required by the state, facility. Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a Human Services field. Candidates must have at least one year of experience with a comparable patient population and hold requisite state or national licensure.
