Pay range for this position is $42.78 - $53.74/hour.
Actual pay is based on years of licensure.
This is an Hourly position.

The Core Flex I Registered Nurse provides expert, engaged nursing care aligned with their competencies, within an entity, including those with multiple campuses, within OSF HealthCare. The Core Flex I RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients using the nursing process. The Core Flex I RN is a highly knowledgeable, autonomous professional who demonstrates flexibility and adaptability, seamlessly to meet patient and organizational needs. The Core Flex I RN role requires advanced clinical competence, informal leadership capability, and provides safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to patients across the care continuum in diverse environments. Tier I RN’s will provide coverage in two or more of the following departments at one location: ICU, Stepdown, Medical/Surgical, Psychiatric, Outpatient Clinic, Ambulatory Care
Associate degree in nursing
Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting within the specialty hired.
Licensure/Certification: Reg Nurse License in the state of Illinois Basic Life Support certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association Advanced Care Life Support certification (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (required for applicable specialties) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association (required for applicable specialties)

Skills/Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain flexibility in work and schedule. Strong clinical judgment and autonomous decision-making ability. 2 Advanced assessment, analytical, and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage complex patient populations across the care continuum. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft applications. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or completion within two years of hire.
2 years of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting within the specialty hired. Participation in Clinical Ladder strongly encouraged. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
