Conduct patient visits, psychiatric evaluations, and develop comprehensive treatment plans. Manage a patient panel as the primary psychopharmacologist while ensuring detailed clinical documentation and PHI confidentiality.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced, communicative, and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to join our Agoura Hills Clinic. You must have a minimum of at least 2 years of experience practicing as a licensed PMHNP What you'll do

Key Responsibilities Conduct patient visits per accepted practice standards Obtain patient histories and perform psychiatric evaluations Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with clinical practice guidelines and protocols Build and manage a panel of patients for whom you are the primary psychopharmacologist Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic intervention, assess, and manage patient follow up care Maintain the confidentiality of PHI Assumes responsibility and accountability for time management, professional relationships, and interpersonal interactions within the job setting Maintains continuing educational requirements necessary for licensure and certifications Provides appropriate and timely documentation of clinical care ensuring that records are detailed, complete, and comply with related standards and regulations This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday- no weekends working onsite at our Agoura Hills, CA location

Qualifications

  • Current License as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner PMHNP - minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Minimum 2 year of experience with medication management Unrestricted license to practice in the State of California Strong IV skills Possesses a State Controlled Substance License II through V Possesses a Federal DEA Certificate II through V BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers Ability to collaborate and communicate with members of an interdisciplinary care team Effective problem-solving and prioritization skills Previous experience in a clinical setting TMS and Ketamine experience Must be able to pass an extensive background check including all educational requirements and licensing Why work with us?
