Job Summary As a Medical Social Worker (MSW) at Aegis Healthcare, you will play a key role in helping us enrich the lives of the people we serve.
In this role, you will provide short-term individual counseling, crisis intervention, and assist with funeral planning issues and the transfer of responsibilities regarding fiscal, legal, and health care decisions.
You will document all findings, plans, interventions, and client progress in the clinical record, assist patients/families in assessing financial resources, address patient/family questions and issues, identify family dynamics and communication patterns, and evaluate the patient/family response to intervention(s) when referred to community agencies and satisfaction with the service(s) provided.
Desired Skills & Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited University.
Valid licensure in AZ Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and flexible.
High level of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of materials and information.
Effective verbal & written communication & time management skills Valid Driver's License (clean record) & reliable transportation.
