Job Description

As an Orthopedic Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care using evidence-based practice. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for orthopedic and medical-surgical patients. Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and respond quickly to clinical needs. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve the best patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality care. Education Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Licensure & Certifications Current South Carolina Registered Nurse license or compact state RN license required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
