About the role

The Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect quality care for patients of all ages based on individualized needs and physician orders. This role involves coordinating patient care activities with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday - Friday position plus 2 weekend rotation every 2 months

Area Coverage: Beaverton/Portland

Job description

The Registered Nurse Home Health, under the direction of the Home Health Clinical Supervision and on order of the physician, is accountable for direct and indirect quality care for patients of all ages, according to the individualized needs of the patient, following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Professional development is an integral part of this nursing practice. Position coordinates patient care activities with other members of the health care team in a collegial relationship.

Required Qualifications

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • 1 year of Medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting or if hired for Mental Health RN work assignment 1 year experience in either an acute care setting or community mental health setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent Home Health experience.
  • Point of Care experience.
  • Community mental health experience, geriatric experience, and ANCC Psychiatric for Mental Health RN work assignment.
  • Hospice or Palliative Care experience for Palliative Care RN work assignment.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Oregon Registered Nurse License and a BLS certification from the American Heart Association. A minimum of one year of medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting is required.
