Job Title: Medical Assistant – Float (IM + OB/GYN)
Reports To: Site Manager (day-to-day) and Regional Clinical Operations Lead
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Work Locations: True Health NY sites across Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island (as assigned)
Full-time preferred (40 hours/week). Occasional early/late shifts and Saturdays based on coverage needs.
Required; must be able to travel between sites with short notice per staffing needs.
Compensation (Recommended for ny market – float role)
$26.00–$32.00 per hour
Placement based on experience, certifications, and IM/OB competency.
+$2.00 per hour
Applies to scheduled Saturday shifts.
Quarterly Float Reliability & Impact Bonus: Up to $600 per quarter
Based on attendance/punctuality, coverage participation, and quality checklist.
Last-Minute Coverage Premium: $50 per shift
Applies when accepting a coverage assignment with <24 hours notice (excluding manager-approved emergencies).

The Medical Assistant (MA) Float supports Internal Medicine and OB/GYN providers across True Health NY sites. This role covers planned PTO, unplanned call-outs, and high-volume clinic days while ensuring consistent patient flow, accurate documentation, and an excellent patient experience. The Float MA is expected to adapt quickly to different site layouts, provider preferences, and schedules while following True Health standard workflows.
