It Is Well Healthcare, LLC is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our growing healthcare team in Dover, Delaware.

This is an exciting opportunity for a provider who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care in a supportive and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and families, promoting preventive healthcare, and providing comprehensive pediatric services from infancy through adolescence.

Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive well-child visits, sick visits, and developmental assessments.
  • Perform age-appropriate physical examinations and preventative screenings.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pediatric illnesses and conditions.
  • Monitor growth, development, and behavioral health concerns.
  • Administer and manage immunization schedules according to current guidelines.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory testing.
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with Delaware licensure and practice regulations.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, nutrition, safety, and preventive healthcare.
  • Coordinate referrals to pediatric specialists and ancillary healthcare providers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete electronic medical records.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the pediatric practice.
  • Provide compassionate care while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for children and their families.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current Delaware licensure as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, or eligibility for Delaware licensure.
  • Current national certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP).
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
  • Previous pediatric clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport with pediatric patients and their families.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and pediatric care guidelines.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computerized medical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited PNP program and possess current national certification and Delaware licensure. Previous pediatric clinical experience and DEA registration are preferred.
