Pharmacy Technician Outpatient
The Pharmacy Technician performs non-discretionary tasks such as packaging, labeling, and mixing pharmaceuticals under the direction of a licensed pharmacist. They are responsible for maintaining stock and operating pharmacy computer systems to support outpatient services.
Under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist, may perform packaging, manipulative, repetitive, and other non-discretionary tasks, including removing drugs from stock; counting, pouring, or mixing pharmaceuticals; placing product into a container; affixing label(s) onto container; packaging and repackaging.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid California Pharmacy Technician License. Applicants are required to pass a qualifying exam and complete the Kaiser Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Training Program within 60 days of their start date.
