How you’ll contribute

Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist.

Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.

Fills medication carts on a daily basis.

Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.

Repackages bulk medications.

Qualifications

  • Institutional pharmacy or medical experience Preferred
  • License: Proof of current CPhT standing and State Board of Pharmacy Registration Required; Successful completion of the National Certification Examination by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technician (ICPT) required 6 months from date of hire/transfer;
  • CPR and CPI certified within 30 days of employment. May be required to work flexible hours.

Requirements

Requires a current CPhT standing and State Board of Pharmacy Registration, with PTCB or ICPT certification required within 6 months of hire. Must obtain CPR and CPI certifications within 30 days of employment.
