The Medical Assistant is responsible for welcoming patients, preparing them for examinations, and assisting healthcare providers during clinical procedures. They also handle laboratory tests, maintain medical records, and manage office supplies and equipment.
ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), one of the nation’s largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology practices, is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Horsham and Philadelphia offices.

Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Prepares patients for their appointment by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit or treatment. Supports patient care delivery by helping health care providers during examinations; preparing laboratory specimens; performing basic laboratory tests on the premises; disposing of contaminated supplies; sterilizing medical instruments; and telephoning prescriptions to pharmacies. Educates patients by providing medication and instructions; answering questions. Completes records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results. Keeps inventory of supplies. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential. Job Requirements & Qualifications: Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred Experience with Epic EMR preferred Strong patient service skills with a commitment to delivering a positive patient experience Education / Certification Requirements: Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification such as CMA or RMA. Alternatively, candidates with any of the following qualifications will be considered: Bachelor’s degree in Biology Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification Five (5) years of continuous experience working as a Medical Assistant Schedule Monday: 7:45am-4:30pm Tuesday: 7:45am-4:30pm Wednesday: 11:00am-6:30pm Thursday: 7:45am-4:30pm Friday: 7:45am-4:30pm Saturday (1-2 per month): 8:00 - 12:00PM ***Please note that this schedule will change based on the Physician's schedule.***
