MRI Technologist Per Diem Magnetic Resonance Imaging The MRI Technologist Per Diem will: Accurately operate MRI equipment to produce quality diagnostic images Accurately record notes to include all pertinent information concerning the exam/procedure Prepare and administer IV contrast as prescribed by a Radiologist Assist Physicians during interventional procedures Schedule patients and arranging for transport
Requires ARRT with MRI certification. Requires a working knowledge of MRI and computer technology normally found within the Radiology Department. Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Staff Technologist. Possesses the sensitivity and skills to efficiently interact with patients, Physicians, Hospital employees and students. Possesses good reading and deductive skills in order to ascertain Physicians' requests and solve problems. Possesses the ability to think and move quickly in order to deliver quality and efficient patient care. Rotates on-call, rotates weekends Assists and participates in activities to cross-train self and others: MRI to CT and CT to MRI. BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association. MRI certification
