• Baptist Health is seeking to add an energetic and dynamic Medical Assistant (MA) for our Baptist MD Anderson Medical Oncology Clinic, located in Fleming Island, FL. This is a full-time opportunity with a 40 hour a week commitment and will primarily support the South campus but may be asked to travel to the other campuses as needed. A Medical Assistant in a medical oncology clinic plays a key role in supporting both patients and providers throughout the cancer care journey. On a daily basis, they room patients, obtain vital signs, update medical histories, reconcile medications, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments. They assist with coordinating care by scheduling appointments, managing referrals, processing prior authorizations, and communicating with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care. Medical Assistants also help maintain accurate medical records, support clinic workflow, and provide compassionate assistance to patients and families navigating oncology care.

Responsibilities
