Pierpan Dentistry is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis, working one day per week. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who values patient-centered care, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in promoting oral health in a friendly, welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and screenings Take dental radiographs (X-rays) Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care Assist the dentist with exams and treatment planning Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols Create a positive and comfortable experience for patients
Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of North Carolina Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality care Ability to work independently and as part of a team
