Performs a variety of functions related to implanted cardiac device management in the ambulatory and/or inpatient care settings. These electronic cardiac devices may include (but are not limited to) pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators, loop recorders and wearable monitors used for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias
Requires a high school diploma and 3 years of experience in CIED management or related cardiovascular training. BLS certification is required, while an associate degree and specialized device certifications are preferred.
