Baptist Health is looking to add an experienced Medical Laboratory Assistant II to work at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, in the Infectious Diagnostics Department.
This is a PRN opportunity covering Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday third shift.
This candidate will be working in our Microbiology Laboratory.
This candidate will be performing specimen management and processing and will require experience within this area.
This candidate should have comprehensive computer skills as well.
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for: Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.
Communicating laboratory results and responding to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers.
Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures.
Utilizing computer functions.
Experience Requirements: Less than 1 year Medical Laboratory Assistant Experience Education & Credentials Requirements: High School Diploma Required Associate's Degree Preferred This Medical Laboratory Assistant II position will be located at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville.
