At Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 57-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.
Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.
We are accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for our Stroke Specialty program.
How you'll contribute
You'll make an impact by providing essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients. This includes but is not limited to:
Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Candidates must hold a CPR/BCLS certification and possess excellent communication skills. A minimum of six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility is preferred.
