TRUE HEALTH MEDICAL·Village of Great Neck Plaza, New York
Provide comprehensive outpatient gynecologic, prenatal, and postpartum care across two clinic locations in Nassau County. Perform approved office procedures and manage patient panels while collaborating with OB/GYN physicians.
Certified Nurse-Midwife / Women’s Health NP / Experienced FNP – Outpatient OB/GYN
True Health NY is seeking an experienced, dependable and patient-centered women’s-health advanced-practice clinician to join our Nassau County OB/GYN team.
The clinician will work under a fixed recurring schedule divided between our Great Neck and Williston Park practices. This is a structured Nassau County position—not an open-ended float role across all True Health NY clinics.
The successful clinician will provide comprehensive outpatient gynecologic, prenatal and postpartum care, maintain stable patient panels, perform approved office procedures and ensure timely follow-through on results, referrals and patient concerns.
No routine labor-and-delivery or overnight call is required. Candidates interested in an expanded hospital, delivery or call role may discuss that scope separately.
Work locations: Great Neck Clinic 833 Northern Boulevard, Suite 100 Great Neck, New York 11021
Williston Park Clinic 2 Hillside Avenue, Suite G Williston Park, New York 11596
The expected starting schedule will generally include three clinical days at one Nassau County clinic and two clinical days at the other. The exact recurring schedule will be confirmed before employment begins.
Routine Brooklyn or Fresh Meadows coverage is not part of this position.
The clinician will provide services consistent with the individual’s New York license or certification, education, experience, demonstrated competency, credentialing and approved privileges.
Candidates are not required to perform every listed procedure. True Health NY will verify training, recent experience, competency, equipment availability, malpractice coverage and credentialing before independent performance.
Manage routine prenatal care within the clinician’s lawful scope and demonstrated competency.
Follow established prenatal-testing and follow-up protocols.
Identify findings requiring OB/GYN physician or MFM consultation.
Escalate urgent pregnancy concerns promptly.
Document significant prenatal risks, pending testing and consultation.
Provide complete information to hospital and laborist teams.
Review relevant hospital, delivery and discharge records.
Provide timely postpartum follow-up.
Maintain continuity between outpatient prenatal, hospital and postpartum care.
The position does not include independent hospital obstetric management, delivery attendance or labor-and-delivery call unless separately approved and documented.
Maintain a consistent schedule at each Nassau location.
Avoid unnecessary movement of established patients between clinics.
Complete assigned clinical tasks regardless of which office generated the encounter.
Maintain one integrated electronic inbox and results workflow.
Coordinate cross-coverage with Nassau County physicians and APPs.
Communicate schedule changes in advance.
Avoid routine same-day travel between locations unless prearranged.
Maintain patient continuity across both sites.
Current AMCB certification is strongly preferred.
General primary-care experience alone is not sufficient.
New graduates are not the primary target for this position.
Complete charts within established practice timeframes.
Review and act on laboratory, imaging, ultrasound and pathology findings promptly.
Communicate clinically significant results clearly.
Address patient messages and medication requests appropriately.
Complete referrals and follow-up orders.
Maintain an organized clinical inbox.
Close care loops involving abnormal findings and referrals.
Ensure appropriate handoff and cross-coverage.
Comply with clinical, payer, regulatory and organizational requirements.
Patient-volume expectations will be introduced through an onboarding ramp and adjusted for complexity, prenatal mix, procedures and clinical quality.
True Health NY expects to offer an annual base salary of $150,000–$180,000.
The final base salary will depend on licensure, certification, experience, prenatal scope, procedure competency, credentialing readiness, references, schedule and internal equity.
The clinician may also qualify for a written quality and productivity incentive after onboarding.
Final benefit terms will be governed by applicable plan documents and the written employment offer.
Selected applicants will complete an initial screen, leadership interview, Nassau County site visits, clinical-scope review, credentialing and malpractice review, professional-reference process and written-offer review.
True Health NY is an equal opportunity employer.
