Provide safe, age-specific nursing care to patients and families within a Level 3 Trauma Center. Implement the nursing process to optimize patient health outcomes and collaborate effectively with the clinical team.
A Brief Overview The UH Lake West ED is a Level 3 Trauma Center consists of 20 beds on the main side of the ED for acute patients.
We also have 5 super track rooms that allow us to see lower acuity patients and keep patient flow moving through the ED.
We are stroke and chest pain certified.

Education Requirements Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program License & Certification Requirements An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance. Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.
