Responsibilities

Complete and maintain certification to either: Safely operate large-capacity vehicles (10–12 passenger vans and wheelchair buses) in compliance with DOT regulations and local laws, or Administer medications in accordance with 65G-7 regulations and Quest procedures, including medication administration, monitoring, documentation, counts, disposal, and pharmacy communication Provide compassionate support while ensuring dignity, respect, personal rights, and professional communication for all individuals served. Implement active treatment plans, behavior supports, and service goals that promote independence, daily living skills, socialization, leisure activities, and community inclusion. Accurately complete all required documentation related to care, activities, health status, and program outcomes. Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, feeding, and mobility support. Safely lift, transfer, and reposition individuals using approved techniques and equipment. Monitor and report health, safety, behavioral, and equipment concerns; respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents, including reporting suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Provide supervision, engagement, and meaningful social interaction throughout the day. Maintain a safe, clean living environment through routine housekeeping duties. Attend required trainings and meetings, follow all Quest policies and procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age. One year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, or in a behavioral health, psychiatric, nursing home, or childcare setting; or qualifying college, vocational, or technical training may substitute for experience. Valid Florida Driver’s License with no more than two moving violations in the past three years. Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., assist with transfers and positioning, and respond to behavioral or emergency situations. Strong communication, teamwork, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm in crisis situations. Ability to safely operate large-capacity vehicles or accurately administer medications in compliance with applicable regulations. Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma, a valid Florida Driver's License, and one year of experience in behavioral health or disability support. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
