Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurses to join our inpatient team. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of an organization changing lives in our community. This is a .9 FTE, three 2 hours shifts per week with rotating weekends.
Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120 bed adult inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, WA. We are a nonprofit hospital awarded both Department of Health and Joint Commission accreditation.
This position is eligible for a $12,000 Sign on bonus with a one year commitment
This position promotes and restores patient’s mental health in a safe and therapeutic environment through direct nursing care to assigned patients within the nursing process. RN’s participate in the care plans of our patients and their wrap around services. They provide physical and psychological support to our patients and provide clinical leadership for other staff on the unit. Our RN’s maintain a hopeful and positive attitude in problem-solving and coping, while promoting and maintaining a harmonious and effective relationships and communications with the patients. They serve as a role model to staff promoting the Wellfound Values, a positive work environment and efficient, quality patient care.
Union Membership As a condition of employment, you must join the SEIU Union within thirty (30) calendar days of employment and remain a member in good standing of the Union, unless you submit and are approved for a religious exemption.
Requires an Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred) and a current Washington State or compact nursing license. Must have at least one year of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience and a valid BLS certification.
