Overview American Dental Center of Union is seeking a dependable Regional PRN Dental Hygienist to provide coverage at our Union, New Jersey office and affiliated practices located within approximately 40 miles of Union. This flexible opportunity is ideal for a hygienist who wants to supplement their current schedule, work with different dental teams, and select shifts based on their availability.
Location: Union, New Jersey, and affiliated practices within approximately 40 miles Schedule: PRN, as-needed coverage Compensation: $70 per hour Flexibility: Pick up available shifts based on your own availability Minimum requirement: Work at least one shift every 90 days to remain active as a PRN employee Shift commitment: There is no required number of shifts beyond the one-shift-per-90-days minimum What You’ll Do Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal therapy Assess patients’ oral health and document clinical findings Take digital radiographs as permitted Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care Collaborate with dentists and clinical team members Maintain accurate patient records and follow clinical and safety protocols Create a comfortable and positive experience for every patient Adapt confidently to different practice environments and patient populations What We’re Looking For Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist license in good standing Current CPR certification Strong clinical, communication, and patient-education skills Dependability, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively with different teams Willingness to travel to affiliated practices within approximately 40 miles of Union Previous dental hygiene experience preferred Why Join Us?
