About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing, directing, and coordinating patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes treating physical and psychosocial changes specific to the patient population on the Telemetry/Observation unit.

  • RN- Telemetry/Observation Unit
  • 30-bed unit specializing in cardiac, medical, and surgical patients
  • Individualized, comprehensive orientation program.

  • Basic Rhythm course, ACLS certification, and NIHSS course provided.

  • Full time (average 72 hours biweekly)
  • Shift: 12-hour day/night (7-7)

The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and be licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in Pennsylvania. CPR certification is required, and ACLS is required for the Telemetry Observation unit either upon hire or within one year.
