Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. EDUCATION: ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing are required. Must have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Rhode Island. EXPERIENCE: Must demonstrate that knowledge has been acquired along with the clinical skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the Brown University Health with consideration of the aging process, stages of human development, and sensitivity to cultural diversity in each step of the care process. Maintains clinical competency to understand processes and identify barriers to improve quality of patient care and healthcare/workplace care environment. Demonstrate ability to provide quality nursing services with a commitment to continuous quality improvement. Develop and maintain expertise in the field to address questions and provide strategic direction for quality and safety. Obtain certification in a behavioral health specialty within two years of hire.
