  • Position
  • Purpose: The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible for providing various care services to meet the personal needs, support, and health status of participants.

  • Will Do: Provide personal care assistance to maintain participants' independence in activities of daily living, including toileting, showers, eating, and grooming. Assist participants in maintaining physical activity, exercise, and walking. Offer behavioral supervision or support, including reality orientation, medication reminders, dietary restrictions, and emotional reassurance. Assist with general activities such as conversing with participants, recreation activities, meal and snack serving, and housekeeping.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Active certification as a Nurse Assistant in Maryland Bilingual Preferred Valid driver’s license and use of personal vehicle required for home care assignments. Experience in a long-term care facility or community-based geriatric program preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population, or appropriate training from PACE organization upon hiring. Strong conflict management and customer service skills, adaptable to changing work priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and electronic mail/calendar systems. Ability to engage in physical tasks such as kneeling, crouching, reaching, lifting, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Requirements
