Highland Animal Hospital is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician/or Assistant to join our dedicated and compassionate team! We're looking for a veterinary technician with 15–20 years of hands-on veterinary experience who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care while mentoring and supporting fellow team members. If you thrive in a fast-paced hospital, take pride in your technical skills, and enjoy working alongside an experienced team that values collaboration and high-quality medicine, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications

15-20yrs Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant. Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures. Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines. Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records. Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment. Fill and prepare prescriptions as directed by the veterinarian, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols. Mentor and support less experienced technicians and assistants while promoting a positive team environment.
