OrthoVirginia, the premier orthopedic/musculoskeletal practice in Virginia, has opportunities for board-certified/board-eligible Physiatrists to join our practice in the Richmond and Blacksburg, VA areas.

About OrthoVirginia: OrthoVirginia is the premier orthopedic practice in the state of Virginia.

We have specialists in physiatry, general orthopedics, joint replacement, spine surgery, sports medicine, hand and foot & ankle surgery, rheumatology, sports medicine-trained primary care physicians, and physical and occupational therapy.

We also have MRI, injection suites, after-hours clinics, surgery centers, and expanded therapy services.

Position Overview: The successful candidate will work alongside specialists in general orthopedics, joint replacement, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma.

Our practice offers a direct pathway to becoming a shareholding physician and the potential for participation in ancillary revenues such as imaging and physical therapy.

This is a private practice/partnership track opportunity.

As such, candidates should be prepared to participate in general orthopedic call.

Qualifications

Strong background in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Trained to care for general orthopedic conditions Board Certification/Eligibility MD or DO degree Active/eligibility for Virginia state licensure Common Procedures: Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies Joint and soft tissue injections Ultrasound-guided procedures Spinal injections (epidural, facet joint) Management of musculoskeletal pain Rehabilitation planning and management Non-surgical management of spine disorders Treatment of sports injuries Management of neurological disorders (stroke, spinal cord injury) Pain management procedures OrthoVirginia Offers: Competitive salary and benefit package Partnership track available 100% outpatient setting Professional, collegial environment Paid Time Off (PTO) Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits Generous 401(k) incentive plan Life insurance Company-wide wellness program CME benefits Paid malpractice

Compensation Range for this position

Central

$275,000 - $325,000

Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography, productivity, job responsibilities, or other factors permissible by law. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.

Requirements

Must hold an MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Requires an active or eligible Virginia state medical license.
