The Occupational Therapist position provides the assessment and appropriate treatment for the development and rehabilitation of the mentally, emotionally and physically impaired patient; based upon the medical diagnosis and the orders given by the physician that are consistent with the accepted occupational therapy standards of practice. EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university required. EXPERIENCE: Minimum six months related experience and/or training preferred. CERTIFICATIONS: Current occupational therapy license from the State of Nebraska required. National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification or be eligible required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
