About the Organization ​ Resilience Behavioral Health is a client-centered behavioral health treatment organization located in Willowbrook, Illinois, serving individuals across the greater Chicago area and beyond. Their programs span Crisis Stabilization, Residential Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Evening IOP, and standard Outpatient levels of care, with a strong foundation in dual-diagnosis treatment that addresses mental health and substance use conditions together. Their therapeutic approach draws on a wide range of evidence-based and holistic modalities including CBT, DBT, EMDR, motivational interviewing, yoga therapy, art therapy, music therapy, experiential therapy, and medication management. Resilience is deeply committed to serving diverse populations, including veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, healthcare workers, first responders, college students, and executives and professionals.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Primary Therapist to join the Resilience Behavioral Health team in Willowbrook, IL. This is a full-time, on-site role centered on delivering individual and group therapy within a structured, supportive clinical environment. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical grounding, a genuine commitment to person-centered and trauma-informed care, and the interpersonal skills to connect meaningfully with a diverse client population navigating complex mental health and co-occurring conditions. ​ What You'll Do

Provide individual and group counseling services using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches Facilitate group therapy sessions and guide meaningful therapeutic discussions Apply knowledge of PTSD care and trauma-informed frameworks across a diverse client population Support individuals with developmental disabilities with awareness of their distinct clinical needs Approach gender-related concerns in counseling with sensitivity, competence, and care Manage clinical documentation accurately, including familiarity with ICD coding and electronic medical records Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support continuity and quality of care

Requirements

Required: Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field Experience providing individual and group counseling services Proficiency in facilitating group therapy sessions and therapeutic discussions Knowledge of PTSD care and trauma-informed treatment approaches Familiarity with medical records management and ICD-9 coding Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and address their distinct clinical needs Sensitivity and understanding of gender issues as they arise in a counseling context Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse client population Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred: Valid licensure or certification as a therapist in the state of Illinois (LPC, LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT)

Benefits

Compensation and Schedule Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM ​Evening and weekend opportunities available for additional compensation
