As a destination center for higher level of cardiac care in Southern California, CVICU implements progressive programs and therapies.
As a member of our team, you will gain experience in: Cardiac surgery Heart failure, shock, advanced resuscitation measures Mechanical circulatory support ECMO, LVAD, Impella, Tandem Heart, IABP, CRRT The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice, focusing on Cardiac Diagnosis. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. They will work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. The ideal candidate will have one year of adult ICU experience, is committed to elevating their professional practice, and seeks to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Bachelor's degree in nursing Experience with Hemodynamic Monitoring in heart failure and cardiac surgery population
Requires a nursing degree, a valid California RN license, and at least one year of recent adult ICU experience. Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
